      Forum-specific Rules   07/11/2017

These are board specific rules for the Trades and Rumors forum designed to provide organization and a better experience for everyone. Please review these rules before posting new threads.
THREAD ETIQUETTE   1. Please search for an existing thread before posting. This forum can be very fast moving, so it's understandable if redundant threads are inadvertently posted. In such a case, please use the report feature to request removal of redundant threads.    2. Provide a clearly identifiable topic title so that users can readily understand the content. The title should include any and all teams involved, as well as player names or other personnel involved as appropriate.   3. All trades, signings, rumors and other news MUST include a linkable source. Simply posting the name of the source is not enough. Effort should also be made to copy and paste the full article, or at the very least the relevant portion of text from the source to the first post of the thread. Moderators may remove low-quality threads in favour of high-quality threads.

Affixed to the front of your title should be a label that identifies the type of transaction that is taking place. For all trades use [TRADE]. For all signings use [SIGNING]. For all waiver-wire transactions use [WAIVERS]. For all rumours use [RUMOUR].
For articles or news items that don't fit into the above categories, affix an appropriate label of your choice such as [NEWS], [ARTICLE] or [MISC].   4. When the status of a thread changes a new thread can be created. The new thread should reflect the change and help focus the discussion on current events. e.g. Someone may create a new thread when a rumor becomes a trades. The old thread will be locked by the moderating team.    5. Do not misrepresent the contents of your thread or post false trades or rumors. Trolling will result in a permanent suspension.

SOURCES   The following source types are considered INVALID. Any links to posts or threads on other message boards Any links to personal blogs Any news heard on the radio that does not have a link to an audio vault or podcast Any news seen on television that does not have a link to online video Any news spread by word of mouth
Additionally, certain sources may be be blacklisted due to poor credentials, clear traffic-mongering etc. Blacklisted sources will be posted here.
Thank you for your co-operation and please PM the Administrator or Moderators if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions regarding this forum.

Either he's raised that reptile or saved it from certain death, or he's no longer alive.

Most minused comment of the day goes too

I just gave a minus because that's what you're supposed to do in society....whatever everybody else does, right?  When I went back and actually looked at his idiotic comment, I realized I made the right choice, whew!

Didn't this guy start the dreaded drop pass on the pp? A lot of teams seem to do it now, can't stand it.

Maybe he will get the sisters playing with some confidence in their power play! I miss the no look tape to tape passes that kept us all in wow. And if so maybe we can get a return for them at the deadline

Really trying to rack up the negatives eh?

That's totally disrespectful to the most passionate, kind hearted players that showed so much loyalty to our franchise. You should be ashamed of yourself even if your not a Canuck fan. The Sedins get very little respect from a lot of people and it's a disgrace.

I'll really miss the Sedinery when they retire, probably be the hardest retirement I've ever witnessed in professional sports. It'll be a very sad day for us Canuck fans when they finally hang up to se skates.

#22 & #33 will be retired and the will be hanging from our rafters for many many year. They are and always will be Canucks. I wouldn't trade them for anyone, they showed us enough respect over the years that no future plan is worth trading them. They deserve to leave on their terms, No1 else's.

Adding Brown to Green just makes a dull muddy Green.

Its funny as the people that call them sisters would get absolutely smashed in a fight with either one of them if they were so inclined. These guys may not drop the gloves on the ice but the amount of punishment they take from other players (mainly due to the shocking disrespect the league and refs give them in allowing it) shows that they are tough as nails.

Benn and Seguin (straight pu**ys by the way) would get absolutely lit up by either of them in a proper brawl for sure

Would you call them sisters to their faces?

I mean, I hate to be that guy but if I was an angry, arrogant guy like that poster I probably would. The worst the Sedins would do is sit me down, give me a stern talking to and be on there way.

Our PP was 29th. We can go the extra mile and hit that 30.

31 if we force the issue. In fact.

B!TCH SLAPPED BY A 21 YEAR OLD. Think if that for a minute. I love the Sedins and all but something died that day, along with the obvious Cup win. The Canucks never recovered. Finally they're transitioning into a new identity.

Hopefully just a rumour. Just because It worked before with Sedin's in there prime along with a solid defense (erhoff, salo, edler when he could get shots through) on the power play.... doesn't mean it will work a second time around especially with older Sedin's and a young defense that lacks offensive prowess. Better off bringing in a fresh face along with some new ideas. I also personally wouldn't be looking at the Coyotes when I think "offense".

I don't think he could do much worse than whoever ran the PP this year.

You know I hate to admit it, but I agree inl part... Just no fight back at all. But its easy for me to type here that I would (if in the same place) just start chucking, marchand, refs alleged bias,  doesn't matter and I think it would have happened had they not thought about the retaliation penalty.

I think it was more the sisters comment. One could also argue they have earned the right to retire Canucks.

That is exactly what it was.
