If we have #3 and #5 I expect us to take: Heiskanen/Vilardi + Pettersson/Glass June 20th - Mock 1. NJ - Hischier 2. Philly - Patrick 3. Stars - Makar 4. Aves - Heiskanen 5. Nux - Glass --> Ideal Scenario 6. Vegas - Vilardi 7. Yotes - Mittlestadt 8. Sabres - Tippett 9. Wings - Pettersson 10. Panthers - Necas +1 11. Kings - Liljegren June 20th - Personal Ranking 1. Hischier 2. Patrick 3. Glass --> Want Him Most at 5. 4. Pettersson 5. Makar 6. Vilardi 7. Heiskanen 8. Mittlestadt 9. Necas 10. Tippett +1 11. Suzuki For Forwards. Glass is my absolute Favourite now in the entire draft. I am sure if I was GM and I picked 1OA I would still take Hischier but from 2 onwards I would take Glass as my Best Forward available. I feel he has just as high a ceiling as any forward asides from 1 in this draft but has a higher probability to reach it. Med Risk - High Reward The only forward I see with a higher potential ceiling than Glass is Pettersson - but I think he has a lower probability of reaching it. High Risk - High Reward If we somehow get the 3rd pick and GM JB really wants Makar too I would expect: 3. Makar 5. Glass This would be an amazing draft outcome for us. Makar + Pettersson would excite me too but it would be the two highest risk highest reward players for each position so it would be really interesting. Cant wait for the draft! Edit: Sorry, I prepared my list predicting which players deserve to be in their respective spots, not who will actually be chosen in those spots. Makar / Heiskanen can both go 3, 4.... Vilardi could fall to us which I would love.... Now I know there isn't any elite players, the top 8 I feel are going to be generation players and gave a great impact. Rasmussen could be great too. Mittestadt has dropped off a little, and I'm not that interested in him. I feel in 4 years we can have a good young team that can compete seriously for the cup assuming Demko gives us what Murray gives the Pens...once we address our centre needs we need to look at building a strong defensive core.
