Would be nice if they fixed development. Stats should atleast somewhat determine how they develop. Some guys put up no points and jump up huge and some guys put up like 60 points and go up one overall... and what's with the new dekes in eashl? Do you have to be a dangler? Do they still have grinders and enforcers in the top of later drafts? I think player types should be more fluid. One is the canucks where i take it seriously and play every game. Then I have my other team which is an expansion team this yeaf and I sim the $&!# out of that. That's my victoria expansion team, they're up to year 2021 i believe. Though they don't develop properly i find. Also looking at what the canucks held for players at this point was rather sad, they where definitely a bottom dwelling team with no draft picks on the actual team. I used to be into that all the time and be like 30 seasons in, but I like to do it on the EA NHL games because then you can actually see your team on the ice. I think it's cool to play with an auto-generated superstar. With my Seattle expansion, it's pretty stupid because it started at the draft, and the Canucks drafted Heiskanen at #5. Pettersson was taken 4th (take that, doubters). So years into the Be a GM, they still have Horvat at 84 and Granlund as their best centers. No big FA acquisitions or trades to get better. There were 2 svechnikovs in the draft. 2 Tkachuks, etc, Makar was on Colorado and was in the draft :/ also so I made a franchise mode with an expansion team and all my created players were in it, but my changed overalls weren't.
