If they had JB doing their drafting the next 3 years they'd be a dynasty

They are literally raping the league right now and the league isn't even fighting back they're just giving in. I knew they'd be good but not playoff bound.

What will our record against them be next year?

And if they had you doing their trading, they'd have the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th Overall picks somehow right?

It's going to happen again when Seattle comes in, so maybe Vancouver should focus on taking care of their own business and things will work out.

It's the league that wanted it that way.  It's a business partnership where the league (i.e. the 30 owners) is adding in a new owner.  For them to make cash they need that new team to be successful.

  • -Vintage Canuck- changed the title to [Report] Expansion Draft Deals - Pseudo Confirmed

What is scary is that they will choose a number of high demand players through the expansion draft, and be able to flip them the following day for more picks and prospects.  They will come out of the following week with a top 10 prospect pool.

This one doesn't make sense.... LV takes one or the other

$&!#ty contract, they want it off the books.  Cost is Marchessault.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Knights will not be nearly as good--i.e. playoff bound--as some people think they will be. They are making deals for draft picks and prospects in order to not take teams' better players; that says to me that they are looking towards making the playoffs down the road instead of right away.
