Reilly Smith had some of the better underlying numbers on that team - 7th best corsi at 52.6% with under 50% offensive zone starts (47.8%) - among the top few forwards in his 'possession' metrics. Go figure. I guess they were banking on the 'analytics gurus' delivering boatloads of playoff revenue - and needless to say, didn't happen.
