Bruce Boudreau
Shane Bowers drafted 18th overall. Another Sportsnet mistake like not having a best available board on the screen. What Mickey mouse coverage. Americans are spoiled draft wise to get Button, Maguire, and Bobby Mac all the heavy hittahs.

That complaint was idiotic from the day it was uttered prior to the draft. Oh I know, Burr it was talked about his improvement from working with a skating coach last summer, Bo himself said he felt much improved and more expolosive

We'll have a decent D or some much needed decent LW considering our lack of LW depth

TheHitman
I don't see Chicago passing on Timmins or Hague. They're lacking defensive prospects dearly.
Beary Sweet
Would love it if Benning picks up Kostin in tomorrow's remainder of draft. He would be a 1st round talent had he not gotten hurt and he'd be eligible for the AHL next season
canucklehead80
If somehow the hockey gods were to let Tolvanen drop to 33 and make Jim draft him, then somehow JB will have ended up with 2 top 10 talents (skill wise) without trading Tanev. Granted they both have question marks and things to work on. The potential of adding that much high end potential to the pipeline is getting me a little excited. May need a cold shower to calm down, or a nice drink

He could be the steal of the draft, if we select him at #33. Is size the concern for why he has dropped?

B53
I dont think Hague is very good. Timmins is solid though. Id rather go scoring forward. Lots of them left
