Popular Post DollarAndADream
Can't wait for this kid. I was hoping to get him over Vilardi and Glass. The Canucks need elite skill, and he definitely has that potential. The Canucks really need to be going skill > size at the moment.
Glory_Days
Not thrilled with the pick...I really hope I'm wrong about it though. For anyone saying this is an amazing pick, or a horrible pick, we all need to wait and see. Won't know until 2022 or so how it all pans out.
Popular Post Derp...
As soon as Benning dodged the Pettersson question in the interview I knew he was the guy. GM's don't talk glowingly about the players they are planning to pick beforehand. The same thing happened last year too with Juolevi. Benning said he'll be a second pairing guy, and that Sergachev would be a top pair guy lol. I'm happy with the pick. People don't get to see players from Europe that much, but remember this guy had the most productive SEAL adjusted scoring season of all draft eligible players. He did that playing at 165 using his mind. HIS MIND! 1

Jester13
If what some people have claimed about his older brother never filling out his wirey frame are true, this pick concerns me. I hope those claims are wrong and we just stole the draft.
cyoung
Potentially highest offensive ceiling in draft. Wanted Vilardi or glass but I'm happy with this, they are the pros.

Popular Post -AJ-
Not really high on Pettersson, but I'm just gonna have to trust that Benning and the rest of our scouting team knows what they're doing. 1
Warhippy
The biggest fear I have with Petterson is his ability to actually gain weight Look at the breadth of his shoulders. He's not much different than the female anouncer. They're about as wide across the shoulders as each other. That slight of a frame will have a very tough time putting on weight and I can see him around 180 pounds in 2-4 years. Think about a 180 pound center here in the west/pacific as a 1st line center. I have a lot of faith and hope in him but there's a long LONG term project in our organization in Petterson

gobi
I really wanted Glass and I got the sense that Glass wanted to be picked by Vancouver too. But good luck to Petterson; hope he reaches his full potential.

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Love this pick. Loved the Olli Juolevi pick last year and love this pick with Elias Petterson. Needs to fill out, but I think he has a higher offensive ceiling than Vilardi and Glass.

Even me and my brother have different frames, so I would very little into that, true or not.

Calm down please, there is not a person in the world who knows 100% how this will all work out (except possibly yourself). GCG!

Look at how many players in top 10 become grinders on bottom six, or bottom pairing D
