Popular Post saucypass
LW | 6'2" | 201 lbs Shoots | Left Born | 1998-10-12 Birthplace | Whitby, ON, CAN Draft | 2017 Round 2 #55 Overall by Vancouver Canucks Strengths Excellent size and strength. Drives the net. Good shot. Reads plays well. Under Construction (Improvements to Make) Skating Consistency NHL Potential Gadjovich has the upside of a top-six power forward. He already has the frame and can only get stronger. I believe he is a little dependent on his linemates. He enjoyed a great deal of success playing on one of the OHL’s best lines with Nick Suzuki and Kevin Hancock. The situation Gadjovich lands in is worth watching. His floor is a bit lower as well given his hot and cold streaks. He has boom or bust potential. Risk-Reward Analysis Risk – 5/5, Reward – 4.5/5 Fantasy Hockey Potential Offence – 8/10, Defense – 7/10 Awards/Achievements Jonah Gadjovich won an OHL Gold Cup Championship in 2013-14. He also won an OMHA Gold Medal in the same season. He was originally drafted 39th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
Scorevat
LOVE this, Jim having a solid 2nd round. Plus, now we have 2 potential draftees to root for in the wjc for canada!
TheCerebral1
Another first round talent, this is the best draft so far for Benning. He's rounding out a solid forward class. Now follow up with some swift speed from the back end.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
picture alone speaks words of volume the type of game he will play. Love this pick. we are getting skilled with Elias Pettersson, Jonathan Dahlen, Nikolay Goldobin etc, and not backing that talent up with gritty sandpaper skilled guys like Lind and Gadjovich to provide presence and in front of the net grit. http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectdetail.htm?dpid=106926 Quote GADJOVICH LED THE ATTACK AND FINISHED THIRD IN THE OHL WITH 46 GOALS IN 2016-17 – HIS THIRD SEASON WITH THE CLUB – WHILE PRODUCING AT MORE THAN A POINT-PER-GAME PACE (46-28—74 IN 60 GP). Derp...
The knock on him is his passing. Kind of like Virtanen without the elite skating. I still think it's a terrific pick though. Very high ceiling, and can still make it as a grinder
Jester13
He was a goal per game for the last 40ish games of the season?! That's cray cray.
mpt
Really excited about this pick, hopefully he can work on his skating. Most goals by a draft eligible player in the OHL. Say his ceiling is Jeff Carter Edited June 24, 2017 by mpt

flickyoursedin
Inflated stats as he rides shotgun with Nick Suzuki but still love this pick at this spot cuz he does have skill and points aside is a worthwhile pick here!
elvis15
Big, strong dude. He'll have some work to do and I don't like to hear about his consistency issues, but hopefully it turns into something. Checking out his (apparently brand new) twitter account, you can see from his profile pic he's definitely got a bit of his man strength already: Pretty muscular and good size already from that photo. Fanuck
Announcers mentioned a Jamie McGinn comparison. Let's hope he can exceed that offensively. Welcome to the franchise Jonah.

Would have been a perfect draft (so far) if Benning had taken Glass, But the combo of Pettersson, Lind and Gadjovich looks good overall.
