I wish they put Ty Smith on that first unit PP instead he was far better at walking the line and opening up lanes.

Me too :bigblush:

Had more points in his lesser role too I believe.

Though I didn't watch much of the tourney I heard that MD played well.  Grats on a good Tourney Mikey!  DiPeitro has seen the highs of winning the Memorial Cup and now the lows of losing for Team Canada - hopefully both help him in his journey back to Rogers Arena.

better than Demko

Debatable. Demko has proven himself at every level except the NHL and he's just about to get his chance there. I love them both but no way to know who's better yet.

The Canucks scouting group has really done a great job of selecting guys with character.   Pettersson, Boeser, Demko, DiPietro, Madden, Gaudette, Stetcher, Virtanen, and it looks like the guys developing in Utica share those characteristics.

I'm wondering if this current call up for Demko is because DiPietro is trending to becoming very good?  Are we giving Demko a couple months before the coming TDL to see what we have with him at the NHL level?  Is this in preparation for the Seattle expansion draft, and Demko (or DiPietro) could be traded?

it's nice to have a group of boys to be proud of, win or lose

Re BoHo, I was intending JBs scouting group, but I did not say it. So, you are right.
