They haven't ruled out a winter start to hockey though. I'm guessing he's looking for more clarity on that before coming to a decision. And/or wrestling with the decision amongst his family and advisors on gambling if they have a winter start (pretty risky chances IMO) vs turning pro and but not really having a development league (no AHL thus far) to play in. Then there's potentially Europe as a developmental option (likely, currently the best route for his play/development but farthest from his family/brother). He's kind of between a rock and a hard place development wise for choices due to covid. It's not surprising he's struggling with them.
