Kid's 5'7", a winger, and weighs in at 179 pounds. A Fin who played in the OHL and put up stellar numbers. ...so in the same article Palmu is listed at 179 Lbs and 5'7'' and then later at 165 Lbs. and 5'6".....that's a big difference...which is it? EagleShield
6th round home-run swing, ain't nothing wrong with that. If he was 4-6 inches taller, he'd have gone in the first 3 rounds in 2015.
Sedinyoureyesontheprize
This kid scores at every level. He has an NHL caliber shot, his skating and quickness is solid, and he has great hands and vision to make plays. Very excited for this pick
Camel Toe Drag
Definitely the most intriguing pick for the Canucks this draft. I can see the elite upside. I'm pretty sure he's done growing however he could still get heavier. I'm very excited to see what this cat can do with the comets this year. Utica is going to be STACKED. I expected pGPS to spit out something in the teens and maybe an expected points/82 of ~40. A better than 25% graduation percentage with and expected points of -55 is stellar for this kind of late pick. Here's hoping he reaches projections. And honestly, I'd say his "intangibles" might push the odds even higher, given how strongly build this kid is and the jaw-dropping skill he's displayed at times. Gonna be a real fun prospect to follow over the coming years.

cory40
In the New NHL this kid will do fine. He is exactly the type of player that will change games. If he is given a fair shot he will play in the NHL.

Kid makes plays and has a great one-timer. 8 hours ago, cyoung said: He's most likely done growing in height. If he's 5'7 and 179 he's probably close to maxing-out physically. Not a bad thing, as he can settle in with the body he has and work on his game. If he has the heart and drive of a Fleury, Johnson, St. Louis, Gallagher, etc. then we could have something. He's in that same size range. If nothing else, an entertaining lil guy to watch develop, with a cool name to boot, lol.
flickyoursedin
He could be what Benning is searching for in a role of PP QB Dman as Palmu played the point on the PP.
