If only he could translate his AHL game to the NHL. I wonder what his deficiencies were that prevented him for making into the big clubs. Being on a edge of the league and fighting for a job each year is more common than not and good for him to stick around this long, make a living doing what he loves and likely earning a few final contracts to give him some financial security to launch into life after hockey.
