Jordan Schroeder is guaranteed to make $350,000 in the upcoming season and $650,000 in 2018-19.

A hefty AHL salary. I guess he has done well there so he deserves it.

If only he could translate his AHL game to the NHL.

I wonder what his deficiencies were that prevented him for making into the big clubs. I know he's small but he also has skill and speed two qualities in which a small guy can make it to the NHL as a regular.

How is this guy still floating around in the nhl??

He's still a decent AHL/NHL utility type player......I still think that he's a gifted skill player, but he's allergic to any type of physical contact and plays a perimeter game...

Benning wanted nothing to do with Schroeder..,as soon as he took the GM job,he just let him walk.

Good for him.   Being on a edge of the league and fighting for a job each year is more common than not and good for him to stick around this long, make a living doing what he loves and likely earning a few final contracts to give him some financial security to launch into life after hockey.

wow that was too real.  That made so much sense, and now it doesn't.

"Second consecutive year I really like the Vancouver Canuck pick"

The year before that? Cody Hodgson :P

Imagine right now the Canucks Top 2 forward lines would be

Rodin - Hodgson - Jensen

Gaunce - Schroreder - Shirokov

I know?

When he played here he was the invisible man, he had no influence on what was happening on the ice.

I haven't seen that he's started scoring or anything.......is he extraordinarily fast? I can't remember
