Sadly, they didn't stick up for their teammate. JB needs to change the culture in that locker-room. It's one of the reasons why Jake not being in the NHL is so frustrating. When Falk jumped Burr the 1st thing (maybe 2nd) was why don't we do more of that? I don't care how many wins Green gets next year, but I do want to see a culture shift. He has a fiery temper. I love when he gets angry. I wouldn't be shocked if he drools at some point. It looks like he wants to kill the other person when he gets angry. Type R Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 The only thing that hurts Lehner, is Lehner.. He cost the Sabres that game, and allowed Burrows to do what Burrows does best, chirp and get under your skin. Falk bought into it too. Imagine how good Lehner could be if he could keep his emotion in check (discipline). He has all the tools, just needs to grow up a bit. At the beginning of the year last year I honestly thought Buffalo was going to be a force, with Eichel and company putting up some serious numbers. What turned out was a very mediocre team that was frustrated by coaching and management, and the frustration boiled over into the media.
