He's likely not a top 4 guy. And if Markov signs its for 1 year as well

Bergevin is looking Markov in the eye and signing his replacement. Taking away what leverage Markov has. But he is doing it with a contract that can be swept aside so he can welcome Markov with a smile should be give in and decide to sign.
-AJ-
Man, Streit has lasted a long time. Good for him.
Bang Bang Boogie
Streit was awesome in his first go around with the Canadiens. He made Souray look a lot better than what he actually was.

Wow I just searched him up and looks like he had a hell of a career in MTL... 9th round pick... 262nd overall... what a steal. 62 points career high in his last year with MTL 2007-08... I've been following our Canucks since 2000-01 and never seen a dman put up 62 points... unless I'm wrong and I somehow missed one doing it. I'd call Montreals off-season as a pretty big step back. Replace Markov Beaulieu and Radulov with Streit, Hemsky and Alzner. Time will tell how the Drouin/ Sergachev deal plays out. The only positive is getting Price signed long term

Lumme hit 50 a couple times. I think 55 one year.
