[Report] Hobey Baker Winner Will Butcher to test market on Aug. 15th

I like Butcher but am not sure if he is redundant or not. We have similar smallish defenseman already. I am happy that there is a place for these type of d-men but wonder how many you can have on one team...

But who wants to live in Denver lol besides the legal weed not many perks

Denver actually has a nice climate.  Snow doesn't stick around too long, more sun and less precipitation than Vancouver.

Skiing in the Rockies is not far.  No ocean, but plenty of things to like.

you should go to Denver and see for yourself before assuming that. Ppl like you said the same things about Nashville until they discovered wall to wall hot chicks at the country bars. I would say that most NHL cities are very decent....well except maybe for Deadmonton

The ability to use our suckiness to lure these guys is hampered pretty dramatically.

There are very good contending teams that have depth issues because of what they pay their stars and a lack of prospect depth because of trading away picks or a few years of drafting late in rounds.

Those teams offer at least of greater chance of cracking the roster and getting playing time.  The fact that they will have playoff games is an added bonus.

Tons of outdoors stuff and natural, beautiful surroundings if that's a person's 'thing'.

Damn guess I was making my assumptions of Denver from watching south park lol . I retract my statement

South Park is based on a county called Park County in Colorado that Denver is actually near but not in. As you watch in the series, you'll notice that the Denver kids are always portrayed as more urbanized and "better" than South Park referenced in particular episodes such as "Stanley's Cup," "The Losing Edge," etc...

Sorry, just a big South Park fan haha.
