@D-Moneyand @Monty, your excellence in developing your team from where you inhereted it has come to fruition, its going to be a tough finals with my one goaltender against your 3 skaters!

While I’d love to take even half the credit, I feel like I can maybe take (at most) 10%. D-Mo drives the boat, here. He’ll ask for my input, which I love to give. But if he didn’t put the work in to begin with, the team would look vastly different.

Boston open to discussion on the following;

Evander Kane

Tuukka Rask

Mika Zibanajed

JG Pageau                    > an ideal player with CDC Puck scoring

Corey Perry                   > cost very low to take on full contract, first or equivalent with retention very negotiable

Calvin De Haan

Brandon Saad               > Costs just $3 mill against the cap

Oh Hey! Buffalo terminates the contract of PA Parenteau. Dudes been playing the the KHL all season and we just had no idea.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/9520/pierre-alexandre-parenteau

Buffalo is also going to be releasing/not resigning if RFA:

Greg Chase
Kyle Pettit
Tim Bozon
Anton Rodin

@Sygvard and I expect them to get snapped up immediately, they're all top line players on most teams, but the Buffaslug is just too deep.

Funny stat: Patrick is not an offensive defenseman, with only 7 goals in 212 AHL games. And yet, he's been called up to play a single game with both the Flames and Senators, and scored in both.

A free agent 1.0 goals-per-game D-man? The market is heating up!!!

Genuine question for the commish team... I was 100% joking about betting a draft pick in the results of the cup, but curiosity has taken over, and have been wondering if that would be actually allowed?

Rumour has it, that Gretzky played for the Oilers because of a game of Backgammon.

I mean, that's pretty much what conditional picks are. However, this is trading picks based on the outcome, rather than the pick being based on value...

Thanks MM, and even more thanks to @70seven

A bit of a market correction for us. We spent some assets to improve our performance last year. Including acquiring Jakob to be our backup.  We hope we're not taking a playoff spot for granted trying to recover a some assets / picks? Hopefully just making space for some of our young goalies, some depth in Dowd (welcome)...

And counting every last dollar in case the cap is $78 mill not $82...

Good luck to Jakob & the Devils!
