Really? We're worried about protecting Granlund?

Yikes.

e/ Who the hell on the other team is actually going to bother taking a "run" at Granlund lol?

Well he was our 2nd highest goal scorer last year playing only 69 games, also with a messed up wrist.

Okay, but that doesn't change the fact that he's pretty much a nobody around the league. No coach is going to game-plan for him, no top checking line is going match up against him, no pest is going to try to agitate him to try to get him off his game and no goon is going to try to take a run at him.

Granlund is feisty, he can stick up for himself if need be. We did loose some toughness in Tryamkin and more importantly Sbisa last year which sucks. Guddy should hopefully be healthy all year providing some pushback, leader ship (and hopefully better play) from the back end. Dors will looking to make up for lost time last year. We saw some young guys do what they need to do in Hutton and Horvat last year.

Further more guys like Lebate, Pedan, Virtanen act could step up during injuries to help out if the team needs some extra push back. When Biega plays he leads the team in hits and he should probably see some time in the NHL or at least be leading the team in the AHL helping develop guys like the previous mentioned.

I'm not to worried about grit, let's make sure we can score some goals and go from there.

Then there is always the story of Sather not wanting to pay Semenko a huge pay increase AND then Gretzky went to see Mr. Sather for 15 minutes and Semenko got a massive (for the day) $250,000.00 contract. At the time Gretzky was the highest paid in the league at 1 million/year.

Virtanen isn't a fighter and has shoulder problems, Guddy is coming off wrist surgery and Dorsett neck surgery.

The Nucks are hoping game management plays a bigger role than last year, the team is starting to see a lot more PP's  the worse they get.

Hutton and Horvat both had there first fights toward the end of the season and both did alright...Bo is an Ox and if he can stand up for his line once or twice a year...that would keep them safe enough.

Boeser probably doesn't need much protection and we will have Dorsett back in full form (or he will get waived if he can't "go" anymore)...(sad but true)

Gudbranson's wrist should be 100% by then....he is still a young horse.

Jake will play at least half the season with us.

Labate and Pedan will both earn injury call-ups.

MacEwen may be ready before you know it.....

....the Sedin's are taking boxing lesson's...

....okay ....I made that last bit up....
