Provost Posted September 15, 2017 Share Posted September 15, 2017 The Penguins have publicly stated that they intend to acquire a centre before the start of the season and have a few they are looking at. I wonder if there is any thought of guys on the Canucks, and any interest on our end for moving someone out in return for other future assets. We have a little logjam in the forward ranks and have several guys who play centre (Horvat, Sedin,Sutter, Granlund, Gagner, Burmistrov, Gaunce), we also have reasonable depth coming down the pipeline with guys close to NHL ready or fringe NHLers who play that position (Molino, Chaput, Petterson, Gaudette, Labate). Would any of Sutter/Gaunce/Granlund be someone they would look at or we would look at disposing of for the right return? Interesting to speculate.
