I'm not going to stay up, but I tend to wake up in the niddle of the night especially if it's hot, and I think it'll be pretty cool to have a canucks game on at that point

I believe so. I'd already set my PVR to record the later showing of the game (IIRC it's at 7 PM, not 100% sure which channel, bur probably sportsnet), though I'm going to change that to the 4 AM showing and wake up at 7 to watch the game before going to work (You should really get a PVR, heh. Skip the commercials and whatnot)

This is absolutely pointless trip just to showcase the game in China.  They might not recover this from this jetlag when the season start.  You can tell by their eyes that they are tired.

I understand the whole distance thing, but why not send the two new young stars' teams: Edmonton and Toronto?  That makes a lot more sense if showcasing the league is important.
