And when injuries hit, who will be there for depth?  There's a lot of small picture posters here.  The AHL only allows a team to dress 5 vets (260 pro games), which means established vets will watch some games from the press box and the Comets will likely have to find some filler young guys to ice a lineup.  Benning has committed to rebuilding the organization, not just the Canucks

Going to be interesting watching the game without all the borderline stick fouls. Vets have to adjust. Kids are already adjusting. Played right I think we can forecheck this year, and make some hay.

That might be so, but feel the way Virtanen has performed he deserves a call up. We could do with somebody laying the body.
