Ossi Vaananen
The average age of CGY just went up by 10 years.
Allt svartnar
Hey cool to have him nearby, see him play a bit more often.
Coconuts
With the Flames? It's not the Oilers or Leafs, but still. Disgusting. Ahh well, at least the living legend gets to keep playing so that's something?
Canuck Surfer
I ,like Jagr. Good for Calgary!
Monty
Great for the Flames and Jagr. Likely a 45+ point season for a middle aged man.
canucks411
FINALLY! The cult following in Canada is going to be great. $1 mill for 15-20 goals, why not?
Darius
Lol! This guy can be the father of each of the Flames first liners. Oh well, I suppose they will try and outscore the problems they are going to have in net again this year.

HKSR
45 year old Jaromir Jagr vs 18 year old... oh nevermind...
Ossi Vaananen
Is this his first Canadian team? Long time coming. It's good to see him get another crack, and add to his point totals. I also find it interesting that teams in need are going shopping via free agents as opposed to waiver sniping.
cbdoubleu
Disgusting to have to see Jagr in a Flames jersey. Hope Jake flattens his a$$. Welcome to the West Coast.
Diamonds
Glad to see he's managed to sign somewhere. Even though it's becoming more and more of a young mans league, I think living legends the Jagr should be able to go out on their own terms. Not to mention he can still play. I do kind of wish it was a team other than Calgary though. It will be nice to see him more frequently, but Calgary isn't exactly my favorite team. kacholu
Call me crazy but I would have been a lot happier to have grandpa Jagr over Vanek

Monty
Wonder if the Oilers will sign Iginla, as rumours had them targeting Jagr.
Mustapha
I am not happy about this for personal reasons. Jagr is one of my favourite all time players but now that he's a Flame, it puts me in a bad spot. I hate the Flames SO much I wouldn't even care if they moved to Seattle. I hate the Flames so much I would rather see another Oilers dynasty...in fact I am praying for one.

The Schadenfreude of potentially seeing Iginla lift the Cup as an Oiler would be very satisfying.
peaches5
Nice. I was hoping he would sign with an NHL team. I think he can put up good numbers in Calgary too and maybe whip their bitch asses back into a playoff team.
Tre Mac
It be interesting to see if the Canucks even offered him a deal, or if they did and Jagr turned it down.
