Burmistrov and Virtanen were both rotating as the 13th forward in practice today. With that, there is a likely chance it's going to be Burmistrov coming out rather than Virtanen or Gagner.

I thought so too. I would have liked to see Gagner in the middle he hasn't been as involved in the game as a wing.

 

Burmistrov has been solid and gives effort on the back check.

 

If Dorsett is an everyday player which Green said he already thinks he could be.

 

I fear that Boeser and Virtanen and Burmistrov will be the rotating healthy scratches all year barring trades or injuries.

 

Guance being close to a return only creates more of a logjam at forward.

Should be an exciting game to watch.  Jets are going to be real tough this year if the goaltending holds up, but hoping Green lit a fire under his guys.
