D.B Cooper
This Thursday at the fortune sound club, there is an absolutely amazing punk show. PEARS is touring through town and being supported by two local punk rock powerhouses. Pears is a Fat Records band. They have toured with NOFX, strung out, Wilhelm scream, etc..... they are one of the best punk bands going right now. Opening is local punk favourites YOU BIG IDIOT. they are like NOFX but super silly and with an amazing live show. Every set they play they are in full costumes and character with a full skit behind the punk rock madness they bring. Next up is AntEater. One of the best bands in town. They are technical, fast as hell, rock solid metal break downs mixed with awesome late 90’s skatepunk. This is is going to be one of the best punk shows of the summer. Sure, it’s a Thursday, but who cares? amazing bands, great venue. What more can you ask for? Ill be stoked to see my old buddies in Pears again. I met them in Florida during a fest a couple years ago and have been hooked on the band since. Who wants to party??? Edit; I’m not in any of these bands, and not working for any promotion companies. Just really stoked on the show and like to share the word of great punk rock! Edited May 23, 2018 by drummerboy 1 Link to comment

It's unknown road, come on man! Back when the bread was shiny and new. Still warm and doughy. No need to make toast with that stuff. Their first four albums were awesome. But they have been rewriting the same dozen tracks since 2001. I'll give you that. Link to comment

Most punk bands really only have a shelf life of about 3 or 4 albums. I was the biggest Offspring fan for a while but after Ixnay they declined. You're right about Pennywise's first four albums, I loved Full Circle(Date w/ Destiny, Running out of Time). I cannot post youtube at work but some of my fav. albums: Offspring - Self Titled, Ignition, Smash, Ixnay, Americana NoFX - So Long..., Ribbed, S&M Airlines, White Trash At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command Screw 32 - Under the Influence of Bad People Good Riddance - A comprehensive guide to modern rebellion Social D - White Light... Gob - Too Late no Friends Sector Seven - Dual I am sure there are a bunch more but I cannot remember now. Edited August 24, 2018 by Tre Mac 1 Link to comment
