DeNiro
Wonder who Edler replaces when he comes back? Likely Pouliot even though he doesn't deserve to come out. I hope Green keeps Edler out if the team is winning and playing well.
SuperReverb2
I do NOT miss Edler or Eriksson. Team is doing just fine without them. Interested (mildly) to see what Gaunce can bring. Hopefully much more than the non impact, fringe player I saw last year.
captainhorvat
What happens to the 6million dollar scrub Erikkson when hes ready to return because as of rightnow we dont have room for him.
guntrix
This team could do with Edler if he buys into Green’s high intensity set-up. Louie on the other hand..

We need him in the lineup, rocking, so Dorian ponies up Chabot for him in order to reunite the Edler Karlson pairing for their 'all-in' run this year - (if Dorian's not pitchforked out of town before we can cut that deal lol). Ottawa already his this one, so why not add one more?

Biega is the easy choice he’s a 7th dman and knows it.it’s when stecher gets healthy that’ll be Interesting one.

Probably not... you are right...someone may slide over temporarily.
TheFastOne21
Does anyone know when Tanev suffered the upper body injury keeping him out tonight? Pure speculation on my part but I wonder if the Tkachuk cross checks at the final buzzer Tuesday night had any effect on it. He's a strong kid, those couldn't have felt good. DownUndaCanuck
Edler in Tanev out, lucky because we would have been stretched way too thin without our top pairing.

oldnews
Goddamit. Here comes the M.A.S.H. tank once again? Losing Edler and Stecher was manageable imo - but losing Tanev - makes this teams chances u.g.l.y.
86Viking
"Moppy" as I call him is back in the line up, playing with the twins I believe. Maybe he should cut the hair...might be time to get a grown up haircut after all. Lets hope he comes back and plays decent, we sure need him to with that contract! RWMc1
Now that Tanev and Stecher are out, are we unable to call up a right hand D-man because of the forward situation?

Wiercioch has been recalled to be the extra. Pouliot has played RD in the past and looked good last game on his off-side. Green says it was his best game.
