Why would we want to keep eriksson?

Just what is the beef with Eriksson?

Is it the salary he was offered and accepted?

Is it because he was over-hyped by the media and others and didn't score 40 goals last year?

There is a helluva lot more to his game than putting the puck in the net.  Don't people notice this?

Dumping on Eriksson is getting old.  He's a good player.

The bottom line is that THIS Erikson is not  worth the six million he was given. He is not a bad player & brings a lot to the team but at that salary the expectation from many is that he should be a prominent offensive threat more regularly.

Unless you're paying his salary who really cares at this point. He's certainly not holding us back from winning the cup in the near future. Nor are we in dire straights for cap space. So why fret about it.

lol no star players in their prime will choose Vancouver as a destination anyways like when was the last time we signed a star free agent in their prime? i don't ever recall in the last 20+ years.. all the so call big name free agent we have ever gotten are usually at the beginning of their decline lol.

Dan Hamhuis man. That guy was a stud when we signed him and was well sought after.

It's for the better apollo.  We need the Sedins' to become the 3rd line.  Maybe they'll be more productive too, since they won't have to go up against the best D pairing of the opponent.

Well, in eastside hockey manager when the sedins were tasked with bottom 6 duties, they absolutely feasted on other teams bottom 6 players. It's plausable i think to happen that way in real life too.  Realistically they will remain 2nd pairing till they retire because we have nobody to replace them.
