Brian Boyle has been medically cleared to participate in full practice.

 

Boyle was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia last month.

Andrew Shaw was investigated for uttering a homophobic slur, but it was determined that no line was crossed.

The Flames have placed Jaromir Jagr on injured reserve. Jagr aggravated his injury on HNIC After Hours with Scott Oake, according to Elliotte Friedman.

 

They have recalled Mark Jankowski from the AHL.

He really lucked out, this could have been so much worse. I may dislike him but I am glad he is ok.

My brother had this a few years back, scary stuff. He was paralyzed for a few days and blind in one eye for s couple of months. Best of luck to Patrick Eaves.

John Stevens said that Jonathan Quick was not tested for a concussion after being taken out of the game by an NHL concussion spotter.

I agree with the decision.  There's no reason to send him down, he's shown he belongs in the NHL and can hang with the big boys.

Then why have the spotter if they don't actually check for concussions?
