Fantastic game for Virtanen. His conditioning looks miles better than it was in Utica last season when he could barely handle a 30 second shift, and his shots are hitting the net too. Missing high/wide was a problem with the Comets. Looks like a focused player who compliments the Sedins really well and can benefit off of their passing.

All the pre-season Dorsett haters have probably been converted to fans by now.

Virtanen looks good with the Sedins - it's a good match for all three of them.  Who knew that a fast physical hard skating guy with a great shot would be a good match for two of the best playmakers of the last 20 years.

Marky had a very solid night.  No weak early goal, which allowed the team to play it's game.  Baertschi popped a couple, Bo got a few points and Boeser keeps pace with Dorsett for the scoring lead on the team (I wonder which one wins by the end of the season?)

He might be smelling 4mil, can't blame him. Keep sniffing Jake, not in the Kassian of old way.

Absolutely.  We seem to be causing a lot more turnovers in the neutral zone and picking off passes and transitioning that into scoring chances as well. Very positive signs.

Oops, meant to quote @4thLineGrinder

Honestly this is all I ask for. I understand there's going to be some dud games. Even some painful one goal loss games.

But to see everyone working hard, that's great to see. Hell even the Sedin's were forechecking.

Hope Stecher is ok. Does that mean Biega gets the call?
