thats quite the list in the OP. One you missed tho was Springsteen. Saw him twice, once just him alone (which was pretty amazing) and once with the e-street band. The guy gives everything during a show, lots of fun. Saw the Hip at Malkin Bowl once which was great.

Just now, smithers joe said:

when i was a young man i went to a few but nobody has probably heard of any of the performers.

nat king cole ( a few months before he died.)

bobby darin...( mack the knife )

stan getz band

wayne newton

and sammy davis junior.

ancient people. many concerts at the queen elizabeth theatre. of course they usually fell on canuck game nights. i always took a small radio with earphones and listened to the games. only once, i yelled out when canucks scored. my wife was super mad at me.

Sammy Davis would have been great. i got to see Ray Charles a couple years before he passed and he was still really good.

Joe, you should type up your memoirs on CDC and we can have a sub-forum dedicated to you where it stays pinned for eternity.

I have quite enjoyed the way you tell stories on here....highly recommend the follow if you folks aren't already.

thank you sir but hearing just my stories would get boring fast and i don't want to dominate the board. it would be great to have a pinned forum for just cdc's stories. i enjoy other's stories very much. we all have experiences we could share.

In 25 years I've easily been to over 200.  Not exaggerating either.  Here are a few of the most notable ones.

Paul McCartney at Safeco field.  (Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear's played) Seen McCartney 3 times.

Roger Waters at BC Place. He did The Wall.  Seen Rogers 3 times as well

Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Candlebox. at UBC. AIC No showed.

Metallica at Rogers for the Through the Never DVD.  I've seen Metallica 7 times or so going back to when I was 15.

Nickelback, Default, Flybanger at the Plaza of Nations. New Years Eve. Seen Nickelback 10 times or so.  First time at China Beach in Langley.

Rammstein

White Zombie and Pantera

Korn and Papa Roach.  Seen Papa Roach like 6 times or so.

Van Halen and Kool and the Gang

Ozzy at Ozzfest at UBC

Bush at The Commodore

Disturbed at The Commodore

Steel Panther 8 times or so.

Motley Crue Final tour

Ministry at The CCommodore.

Gravity Kills at The Starfish Room.

Marilyn Manson PNE Forum. Anichrist tour.

Disturbed, Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold, Hellyeah. Uproar Festival.

Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper

Guns and Roses. BC Place. Recent tour and 1990 I think.

Slash

Rush

Queen

ZZ Top

The list could go on and on.  I feel very lucky to be able to see so many concerts.  Seeing Headstones this weekend for the 2nd time. Can't wait.
