There is no source saying that Vancouver was interested let alone agreed to a deal.  Or whether that would have involved Gudbranson.

 

Demers was a cap dump, plain and simple, moved for a song and a dump to Arizona.

That the Canucks may have sniffed around there says nothing about their wilingness to talk Gudbranson in a deal for Demers.  E5.
