I wouldn't be upset at all if they re-signed for good value for one year, but I hope they call it.  If they do retire, we will certainly have even less offense until we replace that output.  I have the utmost most love and respect for the Sedins, they are great players and classy dudes.  If they are planning on signing somewhere else, I'd rather have them here until they are ready to retire.  Canucks for life.

What's the cap threshold.  The numbers going around are minimum 5M each.

They have an agent - CAA represents the likes of Toews, Kane, Crosby, Malkin etc it's a huge agency.  They'll negotiate market value - under doesn't show well for future or current clients.  It's also the Canucks that wants them back.  Thornton got 8M after a 50pt season.

it's not as simple as a yes or no at this point.

No if we get a 2nd or good prospect for Vanek, sign Evander Kane 1st, Juolevi makes it and Loui finishes with 50 points? Yes if we can't replace their offence?  who knows. I'm torn, there's good arguments for both sides of it.

Just sign 1, & nickname him Sedin-sy. (little did they know)...

Sedinsy announces he wants to change his number to #32..no one can understand it? Brows are furrowed, & arses quizzically scratched in deep contemplation.

Secretly, it's BOTH of them, as they alternate games to stay fresh. Keep this under your cap..cos' U heard it here first!

Yes, but rent them to Anaheim first, for Sam Steel (Sedins be willing).

Let them hoist the Cup - and bring it to Vancouver when it's their chance.

Leave it with Horvat for the night - let his hunger grow.

Come back next year and score 50 pts on our 3rd line again.  Jake will be ready for their wing by then.  Get him 20 goals in the process.

I think we wait and decide about the trade deadline...............

Then if it is unclear, wait until Draft day, and see who we get

Then think about it some more until July 1st

If we sign Tavares then no we don't sign them

If we don't, invite them to training camp

Evaluate the talent that is in camp

If the talent is good enough to honestly play in the NHL, then no

If the talent has still not matured, then sign them

Pretty simple actually!

In saying all that, they have only scored 16 goals between the 2 of them......not a lot of offense really!
