The cost to build refineries and pay the wages expected here just does not work. It is not cost effective, also you are at the mercy of the global oil market. Better to do it by pipeline than rail cars and transport trucks. If a Rail car, or Transport truck goes into the river in the Fraser Canyon it would be catastrophic. Goodbye to our already depleted Salmon runs. Do some research on Steelhead numbers, and then look at Sockeye returns.
