These conversations started with Nashville attempting to move up to the fourth overall selection. Unfortunate however we were unable to do so at a price point that made sense. We are extremely excited to welcome MacKenzie Blackwood (22) and Tyler Motte (24) to the Nashville Predators Organization. We feel these two can be impactful players for our organization moving forward. We are extremely excited about being able to pick at picks: 30, 37, 44, 75, 106, 137 in this years EKL Entry Draft! We are however open to possibly trading back up in the top 20 if the right opportunity were to present itself! There are a few players in that range we would be happy to acquire. First off, shout out to @Primal Optimist for all the heavy lifting when it came to trades this weekend, as I was tied up with graduation plans in San Fran (Easily one of the most beautiful cities I have visited...with easily the weirdest people I have met). Glad to be back home. Anaheim currently holds the 15th pick...we do not intend on remaining there. We are open to trading back (as long as it involves a later 1st) or trading up for those in the 5-10 range. Draft picks and prospects would be available in that scenario. Can still make up ground if the series goes 7, with having no players playing and currently on an 11 day layoff untill they potentially play again. Making things interesting against the , but is it enough to advanced. A couple scenarios and food for thought: If advances and the San Jose Sharks are eliminated, it would clinch the EKL Cup for them. If makes a comeback, and wins their series, but the San Jose Sharks get eliminated, They would automatically clinch the EKL Cup. Interesting strategy from duo but you can't knock their commitment to the league. I'll read up on a few other points today but to keep the ball rolling with the draft we'll make a few statements: Pick #5 is available. We would like to move down to the 10-14 range and add another pick or asset. Will try not to drag this on too long. We can take on bad contracts. If you have a bad contract, the Rangers are very open to taking on a bad contract for an asset. Eeli Tolvanen is OTB. We're open to moving him but we're after at least a 2019 1st Round Pick + (something else...) We are open to moving ANYONE. We have a young team with plenty of prospects but are likely a couple years away from contention.
