I voted Preds in five, but the Avs are sneaky good so they may give a pretty good fight.  But me thinks this series will go by fast like the Ducks did with the Jets in their first playoff appearance.

Avs went from 48 points last season where they finished last overall to making the playoffs with 95 points.

Colorado is coming in with playoff mentality for the past little while. I think they can pull off a win or two, but Nashville is too strong of a team to overcome.

Avs are without Johnson and Varlamov, hard to imagine they can hold off the Preds.

Preds with the Sweep. Too many weapons and Pekke Rinne if anything is an ageless god. That man gets hot it's GG. I like MacKinnon and Rantanen but that Nashville roster is scary deep.

Preds in 4. Avs don't have what it takes to beat them, their D and goaltending is just to good. Avs might steal one game, but that'll be it.

The team with the most points in the regular season is facing the team with the fewest points to make it to the playoffs. The Predators are the clear favourite to win.

We'll see what the Av's top line can generate with the matchups the Preds can put out against them, especially at home. Colorado isn't completely without depth, but they're a one line team as far as being dangerous.

MacKinnon is the wild card here, but I'm not sure he can carry the Avs past the Preds. I say Preds in 5.

MacKinnon gets them a win but ultimately Colorado doesn't have the depth or experience to upset Nashville. Preds in five.
