Cultural appropriation.

Scandinavian does not equal Viking.

Every Asain player is a Ninja?

No?

Same difference, but different ramifications for current race relation issues.

I don’t like the terms used, but Finnish players and guys like EP seem to have that Canadian-style game, which I love. Happy about the new core, just not your descriptors.

Its disrespectful to throw around the term, but worse when it’s applied to Byng -Warriors.

The Viking Clap? For a hockey player who picks up his opponents’ weapon/stick in a fight/game?

When I'm not busy self-identifying as an ‘attack helicopter’, I pay respect to my Viking ancestry. I seem to be the only one though; a political sign-of-the-times for European stock, in general.

In in all seriousness, calling the Sedins’ mannerisms and behaviour Viking is as ignorant as it gets. Here are a few anti-Viking moments:

( Captain Canuck... )

you know the others, no need to make a page out of them.

Viking, my ass.

I don’t see any of this crap in EP’s game. The rest, I’m not so sure about, yet.

All Asians are ninjas

Ona serious note though, most of the players now a day goes down rather easy... Although the simulation penalty has help a somewhat....

But yes not the finest moment, however Makaveli made a fantastic collection of the big bad Bruins diving... With that fat sweaty sh!thead complaining about Canucks diving.

I believe most of them are at it.

But other than that I'm looking forward to more pushback from our new core.

LOL.  Sorry, couldn't read beyond that (can just imagine given your penchant for keyword rants) - too busy laughing at the lamest playing of the "cultural appropriation" card I've ever seen.

The last clip it looks like the ref is telling the Bruins to cross check H.Sedin which they complied with happily.   Typical reffing in that series, AV got everyone on board to not relaliate to both stay out of the box and draw penalties, and it worked to the extent we had more PPs than them, but all we remember is the lack of push back and Sedin getting gloved rabbits to the face.  Anyone other than Thomas in net and we'd have won in six.

Some of the fans on the leafs hf boards were gushing over the idea of  William Nylander possibly getting a chance to play with Pettersson at the world championships. Lol

I guess his skills are recognized league wide by some of the hardcore fans.

He’s definitely a sensation now.

I think many hockey people know that he is a special player.

Is it odd that the part of the list that jumped out to me the most was Daniel's PIMS?

But it's great to see Elias have so much success. I look forward to seeing what he can do as a Canuck.

Daniel always was a lowlife.
