Pepe Silvia
We don't even play the University teams. We just play Winnipeg twice.

Kootenay Gold
I really hope that the Canucks, Oilers, Flames and Jets management/owners can work out some sort of rotational agreement where the current years host team sets the location for the upcoming competition. With out multiple NHL teams involved , the Young Stars Tournament is likely going to cease to exist.

Kootenay Gold
WOAH!! With that kind of lineup they may only have to flood half the ice surface during periods LOL. Dahlen, Pettersson, Jasek..... Gadjovich, Gaudette, Palmu...... Macmaster, Mcewen, Lind = awesome!
HerrDrFunk
I'm happy to have hockey back in some form....but man, it'd be a lot more satisfying if we got to watch Pettersson lead the stomping of Calgary and Edmonton's prospects too.
Gaudette Celly
Now we see the real reason why the Flames and Oilers didn't want to come near Penticton.
Saved_by_Jesus
I thought Eggenberger wasn't coming? Or was that just development camp?

Specz
What a stacked lineup. This is also without Hughes, Rathbone, Madden and Demko. Let's see how badly we demolish Winnipeg with only like 75% of our actual firepower... xD
Provost
Anyome know if they plan to televise any of this or streamed? Would probably get the highest TV ratings of any game this season.
DeNiro
Would love to see a line of Gadjovich - Gaudette - Palmu. A good group of tenacious gritty forecheckers that have some high end skill as well. That would leave a top line of Dahlen - Pettersson - Lind/Jasek which would provide the scoring punch they need. Great group of forwards going this year.
richado
Damn, that's the best lineup we've ever sent to this tourney. Too bad it's the one year where it's taken a skid downhill. Watching Dahlen and Petterson reunite will be a real treat, though. Nice to see Eggenberger in the lineup, could be a decent free prospect for us. Could he be a free prospect signing if he shows enough? I was surprised when he wasn’t drafted.

No, he's still eligible for the 2019 draft as his draft year he played in Europe and not NA. He cannot be signed by us unless he passes through next draft as well, if he does I doubt we sign him then either.
