Like someone above said its what can separate you from being a second round pick or a fourth round pick No it can’t. Gm’ judge based on what they seen a player do on the ice. Every GM interviewed states this. The combine results have no impact on there rankings. It’s almost insulting to think that the only difference between a 2nd round pick and a 4th. Here’s what chayka had to say. While this weekend’s physical tests will garner the most attention from fans, Chayka said the information gleaned from those tests will have limited impact. “I don’t think we’re going to draft anyone based off of Saturday’s results,” he said. “A good test doesn’t even mean a high result.” The combine physical is the most useless part of the draft. They don’t even test on ice skills, how much a player can bench press means nothing. Hockey Isn’t about physicality, it’s smarts and how a player reads the game. The biggest benefit is the interviewing. That’s what matters.

Indeed. For example Fortier performed well but is 170lbs...some of those drills favor lighter guys..
Brad Marchand
In case any of you were wondering about some of the questions the Canucks were asking at the combine:
Nucker 67
Hughes was home a week and did nothing, knowing the combine was a week away (maybe he played video games?). I guess he figures he's special and has already proven himself. OR, maybe he wants to drop to #

Only if we pick up another late second. Otherwise it's better to wait till the third.

He just finished at the World Cup playing for blashill who loved him, while rooming with Larkin. He played in the wings back yard this year. If he gets to 7 it’s a no brainer for canucks. And we should all be jumping for joy. Good call on June 4th ,Forsberg . Theres no way he would have got past detroit if it wasnt for the Zadina gift at 6th that probably nobody saw coming. lucky for us it was a no brainer at 7th too.
