Rob_Zepp
He is still relatively young, has speed and will add a lot of grit to the lineup. He has been buried in Boston and with a massive Dzone start %, still managed 22 points (12 goals) with limited minutes. He has decent skill and last year's CAP hit was about $800K. Not saying he is the second coming of Karlsson for LV but he is a bit of a late bloomer who can play C or LW and is very responsible in his own end while having some nice offensive flair when given the chance. He could be a nice depth option and upgrade for a short-term deal that can be a bridge player while adding a bit of the sandpaper many are after. At the worst, would be a huge upgrade in Utica even if he would be brought in on a one-way deal. The signing could allow Gaudette a bit more development time as well. timberz21
Was he drafted while Benning was in Boston or after? If he was, then I would assume Benning would at least kick the tire on him.

JM_
Interesting idea.... but I think Green's love-in with Gaunce might prevent a signing like this, I think this is what Green wants Gaunce to turn into.
D-Money
I think Boston will try to re-sign him. They're probably going to lose the two R. Nash's. But Schaller should be fairly affordable.
