While I have a decent forward group as well, I needed to start drafting and trading for a solid backend. I don’t have a first round or second round pick next year. But, I’m fairly confident I have a strong enough team to get a playoff spot. Leading into the off-season, here’s what the Flames roster looks like: Connor - Larkin - Kessel Johnsson - Schmaltz - Galchenyuk Iaffalo - Bonino - Toffoli Vesalainen - Lindblom - Kravtsov Smith Pelly Ekblad - Chabot Larsson - Ceci Bortuzzo - Schuldt Belpedio Hellebuyck Khudobin Once I see who the free agents are, I’ll see whether free agency, trade, or standing pat is my next course of action.
