While the Blues are pleased with their new Goalie Tandem Anderson/Ullmark , another Blues Goalie Prospect is turning some Heads in the AHL.

Kaapo Kahkonen just played 5 Games so far but his Stats are Fantastic.  He´s 4-1-0 , with 3 Shutouts  , a 0,79 GAA and a 0,972 SV%.

We are excited to see if he can bring up such numbers over the entire Season and we hope he will get some more Starts in the next Weeks.

He could be probably knockin on the Door for the Backup Job next Season.

Kaapo allready played 100+ Games in the SM-Liiga and he´s just 22 Years Old . So it seems he´s a really talented Goalie.

Quote

In the 200th home game in franchise history, Iowa Wild (10-4-1-0; 21 pts.) defeated the Milwaukee Admirals (9-6-3-0; 21 pts.) by a score of 6-0. The victory marked the third consecutive shutout for goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen (38 saves) and his 207:55 of gameplay without allowing a goal is the longest such streak in Iowa Wild history.

Kahkonen broke the previous shutout streak at the 10:04 mark in the first period, eclipsing Alex Stalock’s old record of 157:51.

Assign: Joey Anderson to Minors

Recall: Isac Lundestrom to the NHL

I did not realize Lundestrom got sent to the AHL so I will not need this transaction to go through

That or would you like me to repost since it was 13 hours ago?

Good to see agent @Squeak at the Giants game tonight. Hope you and your kid had as much fun as we did!

Shame about the end of the game though. 6 on 3 and an empty netter against. Ouch.

Good to see you too!

I had run into someone I knew outside, so my son was focused on getting popcorn at that very moment and talking to someone else wasn’t in the cards! Haha

I know that feel bruh...

Vasilevskiy, Chara, Demers, McQuaid, Beagle, Moore, until recently Bratt/Brown and now it looks like I can add Helm to the pile of corpses piling up :picard:

Never mind Schenn waived, Sbisa a regular scratch, Necas in Charlotte... At least Chytil has rediscovered his scoring touch! lol

Steven Santini is finally coming back from injury later this week. He has been cleared by medical staff the team just wants to get him up to speed before inserting him into the lineup. Very excited to have 6 active D again lol. Santini only played in 1 game and has been out since a broken jaw in early Oct 20th! Still hoping to add another D so Santini can be my #7 but I will have to wait and see how the cards unfold.

Update: I spoke to soon Santini was sent down on a conditioning stint today on Nov 20th, 2018.

Updated look at the Islanders after some shuffling the last few weeks. This is the lineup we should be going with for a bit.

@Mike Vanderhoek // @canuck2xtreme If it’s not to much to ask could I get my sheet to reflect this. Thank you I’m advanced!

T.J. Oshie is out with a head injury. There is no timeline on his recovery but he appears to be out game to game. We will continue to monitor the situation. (No IR designation is required at this time)
