I'd do 7 and 37 for 9 and 26.  We'd still get one of Dobson, Bouchard, Hughes, Boqvist, Wahlstrom, Kotkaniemi.   NYR may do the deal as well depending on who they like, and who they think CHI will take at 8.  Jumping from 37 to 26 would be huge.

I think this is what the Poster was getting at. There are variations to our current #7 position, whether it is mine or yours, or his, or something entirely different, as long as we stay

in a position to get what Jim wants...….a dman for me....……..I am ok that Jim does the drafting Yeah, if can improve our 2nd pick and get who we wanted with our first pick, I am all for it.

Only way we get rod of our 7th is for a trade that brings us a player that we need now a C or D

 

would have to be a big trade which we have not done is sometime now as we have to many players
