Looks like we got screwed on our leafs HNIC game, but instead we get a Montreal HNIC Saturday game.

I'm looking forward to the December 1st game against Dallas and the January 20th game against Detroit.  1:00 starts.  I can get there and back from the Island without having to shell out for a hotel!

One weird one... a 7:30 home game.  Wednesday, January 23rd vs Carolina.  I wonder what that's all about?

Love the road back to back in December where it is Philly and the, get this, Edmonton.   Can you even fly from Philly to Edmonton on one day?    That will be a red-eye for sure.   If you want to see McDavid have a big night, put down that game.

In terms of matchups?

In terms of rest and back to backs this is one of the more favourable schedules we've had in awhile. Where it gets really bad is near the end of the season. However that will either be good in that it helps us complete a tank, or if the team surprises get ramped up for some tough playoff games.

I was thinking from a match-up pov.... for a much younger group thats a lot of playoff talent to face. But then again maybe they'll be tired.

I was hoping they'd be in Nov &/or Dec when rooms are cheapest...and I love LV in Dec....last year the March game was during March Madness and rooms were too expensive.

However, there are a few hotels where I can get 3 or 4 night comps for the Oct game so can't complain.
