Hopefully they'll have some success on this PP. Andddd Lockwood scores! Hughes set up Lockwood nearlier on in the powerplay and Lockwood made a really nice move and just missed the net. Lockwood scored a few moments later on a snipe from the slot Edited October 6, 2018 by Grape 1

It's really fun going to games as well! A lot of interactive chants / banters with the opposing players and especially goalies.
Grape
I know this is the Hughes' thread but Lockwood is FLYING. Norris missed a wide open net that would've given both Quinn and Will assists :/

SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Vermont's goalkeeper the obvious story in this one. 48 saves! Michigan with 79 shot attempts and 50 SOG. Hughes with 14 shot attempts. Could've easily had 4+ assists tonight. And a couple goals, as he fired at least two of his shots off the iron. Anyway, hopefully the puckluck arrives next game as the Wolverines play again tomorrow. Popular Post Grape
5-2 loss to Vermont for #4 Michigan. Michigan had 50+ SOG. Lockwood with a goal. Hughes was brilliant offensively. 0 points, but he may have been a part in well over a dozen good chances that game (including hitting iron twice himself). Whether it was guys missing wide open nets, hitting posts, being stymied by the goalie, or bad luck, nothing came out of it but on the scoresheet even though it seemed like he could've had 6 points that game. I didn't pay too much attention defensively but I'm pretty sure Hughes is not giving it all on that end. Occasionally he'll decide to ramp up the physicality but he coasts more often than not. That's not gonna work in the NHL. Especially because he plays on a team that is very vulnerable defensively and goaltending wise - a lot the UM games I think will involve heavy offensively zone time, but they'll give up a lot of chances whenever they don't have the puck. Popular Post -Vintage Canuck-
Here is a nice play from today's game where Quinn Hughes takes the advantage of a bad line change, rushes the puck up the ice, and almost scores. As mentioned by @Grape, a few posts above.

This game is set for 4:00pm ET (1:00pm in Vancouver). So hopefully that explains why the link isn't working. Game doesn't start for another couple hours. 1
Fred65
I see in THN forecast for NCAA players to watch for Hughes is #1 and Vcr has a couple more in the top 50 https://thehockeynews.com/news/article/the-top-75-players-to-watch-in-ncaa-hockey
WHL rocks
Hughes and Pettersson are going to be magical to watch together. Both 3 line players so zone entries are going to be easy and the puck is going to be in the O zone majority of time. Can't wait.
