It's just what Burke and and boys were saying after he got drafted. They didn't go into any detail. Just mentioned how it turned a lot of GM's off from him.

Stocked slipped after an injury plagued season. A good pick. 200 lbs already, you got to think he will be playing at around 210 - 215 when hes 20 or 21. 1

They said on tv that he slipped probably 20 spots because lots of teams had concerns about off ice issues with him. 1
ruilin96
Hope he develops into a Dustin Byfuglien type of player.
Popular Post SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Jett Woo is a very solid two-way RHD with elite skating and some real bite to his game. Plus he’s built like a tank and hits like one. Should fit in very well with our young defensive group alongside LHDs like Hughes, Juolevi, and Rathbone. Offensive numbers maybe a little soft (compared to most projections following his impressive D-1) but I’d expect those scoring stats to jump next season. This past year he missed a month with a shoulder injury, and then saw the offensive roles dry up a bit when he returned to the lineup (due to returning players and acquisitions like Kale Clague). Jett Woo is a solid pick and one of the best names in the draft. Edited June 23, 2018 by SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME 2 2 2

Popular Post Rob_Zepp
One thing about Woo that is interesting, he was picked to the Canadian U-18 along with Dobson, Merkley, Addison and was an "A" on that team and in spite of not getting any points int the tournament, was picked as a tournament all-star as he was so phyiscally dominant. That is an interesting thing about him - a throwback in some ways but one who can skate. Will be an interesting one to watch. 9 2

Jett Woo is a solid pick and one of the best names in the draft. From what I've seen of him, he reminds me of a more physical Tanev. Plays smart in his own end, soft on points because he's usually "the third assist" with good outlet passes. He actually plays the body, though, which is a really nice trait to have.
