appleboy
If Cozens or Dack are there you must grab one. Big Canadian kids that can both skate and have high end talent. Watch this years cup final. Size with skill is important. Dack is a big time play maker. I will bet their gone. Lets get another high pick Jimbo. Markstrom to the Oilers for their 2nd , 1st , Lucic. and Koskinen. Then find a way to get rid of LE.

73 Percent
Some shockers there. Cozens freefall after a disapointing under 18s. Seider sneaks into top 10.
JM_
Can someone enlighten me as to the rise of Seider? whats he done to overtake some of those guys on the list? not being critical of him just not sure whats with the rocket up the standings.

HP had him at 12 way back in February IIRC. He's only shown well since then with a very solid showing at the world's. Not much of a leap from their original ranking. If the HP list and the one Button did are accurate at all, damn I want Jim to grab up 1 more pick this is a great draft for us if thats possible at all. 1

Huge, physical & mobile - rare combination for a defender. 2. Both offensively and defensively aware - rare combination for a defender. 3. Right handed - less common these days for defenders. 4. Played a season vs. men - may have sped up development 5. Showed very well vs world-class competition recently 6. Strong in areas typically difficult to coach and weaker in easily coachable areas 1 3 2

That would depend heavily on who went 3-9 and who's left besides those 3. I'd probably lean Cozens then Seider though unless (likely) there's someone I have ranked higher still available (quite possible with this draft).
D-Money
1 minute ago, Jimmy McGill said: so If Seider, Soderstrom and Cozens are all there at 10 who's your pick? Outside of Byram, the D in this draft are a crap-shoot. From the sounds of things, Benning is making his main goal to fix the defense in the here-and-now, which will likely mean long-term contracts to a couple of guys. So I think it's more likely that he goes with a forward. Less risk, more likely to be NHL-ready sooner, and with the struggles of some of our forward prospects, possibly more of an organizational need.

Gotta be more than that to drop that much in now more than one ranking. I have to wonder if his interviews didn't go well or some other factor us mere mortals aren't privy to, that's causing this...? Certainly makes me wonder if I should drop him a few spots in my own ranking (I hate that we're not given access to interviews! ) Edited June 7, 2019 by aGENT

I take Cozens, but I'm from northern Canada so i might be biased. Regardless the kid is supposed to be one of the safest picks in the draft, if we drafted him I would be more than happy to move Virtanen in a trade

Noble 6
I don't think Cozen's ceiling is as high as some others, but a line with him and Horvat would be very difficult to contain.
