Hopefully the Canucks offer him a one day contract to let him retire a Canuck. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/alexandre-burrows-appointed-assistant-coach-with-the-laval-rocket/c-299425860

Rob_Zepp
I don't think people realize how big a deal it was this guy even got to the NHL. Moreover, besides an unreal work ethic and mental toughness to believe in himself when no one else would, there is one reason this undrafted player was able to have an amazing NHL career versus just a coffee or three. Alex should have a framed picture of the Sedins in his home that he thanks every single day for the rest of his life.

They brought the best out in him, and he in turn was the best linemate they ever had.

Ghostsof1915
Wish he was with the Utica Comets as a part of player development. If there's anyone that's a perfect symbol of never say die, never give up your dreams its Burrows. Good luck in your new career Alex. Interesting how he got snapped up in a job right away. The Beagle had landed
Alexandre Burrows was the true definition of a Canuck. Determination, perseverance, leadership on and off the ice, and a beacon for controversy. The league won't have the same bite without you in it. My French is a lite rusty, but Au revoir dragon tueur. Tu vas nous manquer.

Great story of a guy who youd never think would make the nhl but with a little hard work you can achieve your dreams I hope to see the guy back home some day
