my mother being haida ,she and her younger sister both went to residential school in alert bay, prior to them leaving haida Gwaii  my mother and my grandmother flew to Rupert for medical reasons this would have been in the early 40s , my mother was only 9 yr's old at the time. for her and her friends growing up on such a remote island , if you never got off the island somehow ,thats all you knew , that was the world if you didn't know any better . back to that plane ride ,when she got back to the charlottes she told my aunt there's something else out there , and we to have get out of here, so both my mother and my aunts story about residential school was a good one . my mother became a nurse and my aunt became a hairdresser. i'm only half native my father was Scottish.

I will want to watch this - sounds very interesting.   However, and I really don't want to offend anyone, but when I saw the title I thought this was going to be a discussion of a former hockey player named Richard who became a bad porn movie actor in Quebec.    Too late at night here.   I need to go to bed apparently.

 well theres the trailer for it lol, it isnt what you thought hahaha
