Mafia: Attack of Alain Vigneault and The Weasels (AV wins)

BACKSTORY:

In March of 2016, a user by the name of Alain Vigneault had decided to pledge himself as an active and contributing member to the CDC Mafia family.  While, in theory, this should have been a welcome addition, he quickly developed a reputation that corroded the cohesiveness and friendliness among the users.  Between his cheap and personal insults, his ruthless and borderline ban-able posts, as well as his erratic and questionable behaviour both in-game and out of game (angleshooting and liking posts from the DPS, anyone?), the hate he received was, in no doubt, warranted.

 

Flash forward to August of 2018 and Alain was up to his usual bs. Fresh off a victory in the new revival, he couldn't even celebrate that highly, highly, highly, fortuitous victory with even the slightest hint of humility.  Up on his high horse, he and a few pals (calling themselves "The Weasels") would decide to terrorize the town further and continue with their shenanigans.  Unfortunately for him, the town had other ideas and banded together in hopes to finally put this guy in his place.

1 Alain Vigneault (Jack Of All Trades hybrid with one-shot use of the following special abilities)

• Investigation:  May investigate the faction and role of one player
• Self-save:  May use a save on themselves or any member of their mafia team
• No-lynch:  May prevent the lynch from occurring 
• Role-block:  May prevent a Special-player from successfully performing an action that corresponds to their role

 

Note:  If Alain Vigneault is investigated, he will return as "Town"

 

*Subject to change if there are issues reaching (or exceeding) the minimum of 14 players, as well as veteran player opinion regarding the balance and description of special roles.

 

RULES:

1.  Nightfall will occur at 10 PM PST (1 AM EST and 6 AM GMT).  The first nightfall will span 48 hours.  The subsequent nightfalls will span 24 hours.

2.  All final role actions must be submitted by 9:30 PM PST (12:30 AM EST and 5:30 AM GMT)

3.  Use of Personal Messenger is PROHIBITED unless you are required by your role to submit an action

Setup looks fair as far as I can tell. The 1 Alain Vigneault will probably make or break the game, depending how he's used. But that seems fitting.

 

The amount of WIFOMing that will follow the no-lynch action will be astronomical.

This game will be settled not by who's tp and or how many mafia. It'll be settled by who is potato and where is potato.
