Makaramel MacKhiato
Someone help me. I'm in a keeper fantasy league. Gotta let one of these guys go (was originally thinking Paches): Pacioretty Rakell Giroux Who do I choose!?
HerrDrFunk
Vegas going, dare I say it, All In?
ChuckNORRIS4Cup
Tatar and a draft pick seem like a nice return, but got a feeling fans in Montreal aren't going to be happy Monday morning Don't know much on Suzuki but I guess his last 2 years in the OHL he put up decent numbers. billabong
Pretty good haul for mtl tatar will hopefully be a 40-50 point guy suzuki is a centre which is something they desperately needed and he’s a former 1st round pick as well as a 2nd rounder patches is slowing down and will be on a bad/overpaid contract soon enough
King Heffy
Vegas easily got the best player out of the deal. It's not Bergevin's worst work but it's not a great move. Keep in mind I'm not particularly high on Suzuki.
TheRocket18
So no karlson to vegas?
Where's Wellwood
Montreal is rebuilding, and Pacioretty wasn't exactly the most favourite captain in team history. To get Tatar, Suzuki, and a 2nd is FANTASTIC.
cyoung
Mtl did well here. I don't like this move by Vegas honestly.
48MPHSlapShot
Nice move by the Habs. They got themselves a really nice haul. A great prospect in Suzuki, a young-ish middle 6 forward in Tatar, and a 2nd rd pick.
Blömqvist
Good trade for Montreal. Suzuki is highly skilled and adds to their future forward core with Kotkaniemi, Drouin, and Domi. Tatar helps them to score goals for the next few years and will probably put up 20 goal, 40 point seasons. Still a lot of pieces they need to add though. TheHockeyNerds
Love it from the Mtl side, Suzuki has some nice upside
Oregon.Duck
So recap: Detroit: Veleno, 2nd, 3rd Vegas: Patches Mtl: Tatar, Suzuki, 2nd Actually not bad for Bergevin. Hold my beer while I go check for pigs flying on behalf of MTL fans.
Where's Wellwood
This is a breath of fresh air after the stinkers that were the Subban trade, Sergachev trade, Galchenyuk trade, and not trading down for Kotkaniemi
Gaudette Celly
So essentially, two 1sts, two 2nds, and a 3rd for Patches.
