420since1974
Thank you very much for running this simulation. Just like last year, I had a lot of fun. Anthony Crawley Retires from Hockey Spoiler Random hockey pundit article: Anthony Crawley is retiring at the age of 39, after playing 19 seasons in the NHL. The tall, lanky Right Winger was chosen 1st overall in the 2018 WHL Draft by the Medicine Hat Tigers. Crawley played in 4 seasons (236 games) for the Tigers scoring 169 Goals + 148 Assists = 317 Points. He also participated in 4 WJC tournaments, winning 2 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze Medals. In 2021, he was chosen 4th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in the Entry Draft and was named the NHL’s 5th ranked prospect in 2022. He began his NHL rookie season in 2023/2024 and scored 62 points on his way to winning the Calder Memorial Trophy. During the 2029/2030 season, Crawley scored a career high 52 Goals placing him in 3rd place for the Rocket Richard trophy that year. He proudly represented Canada twice in the Winter Olympic Games, winning a Gold Medal in 2030 and a Silver Medal in 2034. Following the 2034/2035 season, Crawley was traded to Chicago for a first round draft pick, and immediately matched his career high of 87 points during his first season with the Blackhawks. Crawley made his first Stanley Cup Final Series appearance in 2039, but his Blackhawks fell just short, losing the final series in 6 games to the Red Wings. In 2040, he finally won the Stanley Cup with Chicago. The Blackhawks finished off the Panthers in 5 games and celebrated their win on home ice. Following two injury plagued seasons, he signed with the Los Angeles Kings in 2041/2042, and posted a comeback season of 28 goals and 56 points. A 4-time PPG player, 5-time 42+ goal scorer, 13-time 31+ goals, Crawley tallied 27+ goals in every season except the three years during which he was injured for a substantial number of games. Anthony Crawley has finished his NHL regular season career with: 1,479 Games = ahead of Doug Gilmour on the all-time list. 634 Goals = ahead of Joe Sakic and Jarome Iginla on the all-time list. 616 Assists = ahead of Rod Gilbert on the all-time list. 1,250 Points = ahead of Peter Stastny on the all-time list. 5,691 Shots on Goal = ahead of Jaromir Jagr on the all-time list. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Anthony Crawley quote: “This is an extremely emotional day for me. I want to thank all my family, coaches, and teammates for helping me to make every one of my hockey dreams come true. I feel quite privileged to have made a very fine living playing a game that I love so much.” Random internet troll: “I can’t believe that AC got paid over $134M ******* dollars during his career.” Anthony Crawley NHL Regular Season Career Stats Spoiler Games Goals Assists Points +/- PIM SOG SH% 82 31 31 62 +1 34 309 10.0 = Calder Memorial Trophy 77 27 28 55 +4 22 241 11.2 80 32 26 58 +3 73 277 11.6 82 29 31 60 -11 48 315 9.2 80 46 41 87 +1 37 342 13.5 52 19 20 39 -2 6 215 8.8 82 52 30 82 +19 26 383 13.6 = 3rd place, “Rocket” Richard Trophy 82 39 37 76 -1 18 400 9.8 82 42 37 79 +15 40 402 10.4 82 42 27 69 -10 24 354 11.9 82 37 38 75 -12 30 322 11.5 82 33 31 64 -10 16 313 10.5 78 42 45 87 +21 32 306 13.7 82 39 44 83 -5 18 369 10.6 82 32 33 65 -10 26 303 10.6 82 34 35 69 +27 28 198 17.2 68 16 31 47 +3 22 232 6.9 63 12 20 32 -7 26 197 6.1 76 28 28 56 +15 24 213 13.1 Totals 1,479 634 616 1,250 +41 550 5,691 11.1 Anthony Crawley NHL Play-Off Career Stats Spoiler Games Goals Assists Points +/- PIM SOG Sh% 15 1 2 3 -6 18 58 1.7 = Western Conference Finalist 6 4 2 6 +3 2 24 16.7 = Western Conference Quarter-Finalist 7 4 5 9 0 4 35 11.4 = Western Conference Quarter-Finalist 13 6 10 16 +1 2 62 9.7 = Western Conference Semi-Finalist 6 2 2 4 -1 0 25 8.0 = Western Conference Quarter-Finalist 5 3 1 4 +3 0 14 21.4 = Western Conference Quarter-Finalist 20 13 9 22 +10 0 67 19.4 = Clarence S.
