Not to mention he probably makes more in a month than Reeves does in a year....  and I do in a lifetime:picard:

I'd love to have either on the Canucks, especially a guy like Reeves and his caphit compared to Dr. Schaller.

He wouldn't be allowed to get away (actually either player) if they wore a Canucks jersey.  Ron McLean has an orgasm whenever he gets a chance to badmouth a Canucks player.

But Tom Wilson has a cup at Reeves expense.. Reeves is a big plug. Who's really laughing in the end?

I'm genuinely curious, can you enlighten me on why you're such a Wilson homer? Serious question.

EDIT: I don't care about Reaves.  Just wondering.

Yes. Everyone and their dog has seen this. I don't consider this a toe to toe fight. Lucic wasn't even fully engaged. I've already stated the fact that he gotten beaten by both Orr and Erskine.

I'd like us to have both Reaves and Wilson.  Play them with EP 40.

On paper it sounds good, unfortunately they'd both be suspended for the majority of the season so Pettersson would probably still be fending for himself.

The way I saw it on the “wide” /end zone coverage by the camera,.

Wilson see’s Reaves coming out of the corner before he touches the puck.. he touch passes the puck and spins around continueing into Reaves path to cause the interference on Reaves..

Wilson knew what he himself was doing.

Reaves drops his shoulder and keeps his path to protect himself.

For not one second do I think Wilson is innocent in this.

Would you be saying the same had it been Pettersson?

I doubt it.

The defenceless player argument would've been posted all over Canucks.com and we'd all be calling for Reeves' head.

The double standard would be well represented.

Only thing is I have 0 interest or care about Wilson these days.  After all the late hits and injuries he's caused its hard to feel any sympathy for him.  Virtually anyone else I would be outraged but not with Wilson at this point.

I don't remember anyone saying a damn thing when Reaves blindsided Edler.

Reaves is a big boy that goes around popping players because nobody is going to do anything about it, because the dude is huge, case closed.

The guy is a goon, but he can play as well.

We need a guy like RR    end of story.

How does Petterson equate into this..??

But hypothetically speaking:

I don’t think EP would be stupid enough to skate or “float” into Ryan Reaves.

Wilson SAW Reaves and turned his back..  I guess that just makes Wilson stupid..

I think that answers your question.

No need for double standards when stuipid is, as stupid does.

When the hell does anybody drift in front of somebody crossing over  out of a corner for speed  on a back check?

Wilson had his head up, saw Reaves,.  touched the puck for a second, and timed his direction to interfere with Reaves picking up speed to back check.

Mission accomplished by Wilson..   Punk move really.

All that doesn't answer the question.

If it were Pettersson lying on the ice after that hit; Would your opinion of it change?

Petterson wouldn’t float into Reaves like that..

Wilson did on purpose.. Wilson is not innocent in this,. Neither was he defenceless,. But he chose to be.

anyone else would have avoided Reaves after SEEING him round up ice.. including Petterson.

Thats my answer to your question.

Not playing hypothetical’s with you.
